Easy Toy Car Craft Using Straw For Kids

Materials Required

• Straws
• Bottle Caps
• Glue Gun
• Scissors

Procedure

Step 1: Take 4 Bottle Caps

Let’s begin with this toy car by taking 2 plastic bottle caps.

Step 2: Applying Gluegun

Apply a drop of glue gun in the center of the cap from the inside.

Step 3: Pasting Straw

Cut out half the straw using scissors and paste one corner from the glue gun over the cap.

Step 4: Making Wheels Of Car

Paste the other end of the straw into another bottle cap with a glue gun to form a set of wheels. Form another set of wheels using the same steps.

Step 5: Sticking The Wheels With Each Other

Cut away the bent part of the 2 straws. Paste the remaining straws with the sets of wheels from both sides with the glue gun to form a rectangle

Step 6: Pasting A Cut Out Bent Part Of Yellow Straw

From the corner of the rectangle, paste a cut-out bent part of the yellow straw perpendicular to it and bend the other end at a right angle. Do the same from the adjacent corner of the rectangle.

Step 7: Pasting Straws At The Back Corners Of The Rectangle

Paste 2  yellow straws (without the bent part) perpendicular to the back corners of the rectangle using a glue gun. Insert and stick the other 2 yellow straws from the front yellow bent parts and bend them in a way to form a two-step staircase of yellow straws in the front.

Step 8: Pasting The Yellow Straws To Each Other

Using a glue gun stick both the yellow straws on the front and back at a right angle as shown in the image.

Step 9: Pasting A Red Straw In The Front

Cut out a red straw, and paste it to attach the first step staircase corner using the glue gun.

Step 10: Pasting Another Red Straw

Cut out another red straw and paste it to attach the second step staircase corner.

Step 11: Sticking More Straws To Form A Car

Paste 2 purple straws behind the corners of the yellow staircase, horizontal to the back vertical yellow straws. Cut out 3 red straws and stick one to secure the back yellow straw top ends. Paste the other 2 red straws in the middle of the purple straws to the yellow straw.
