Need a craft idea to make your kids feel closer to nature?
Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered!
Procedure
Step-1:Cutting The Fall (Maple) Leaf
Firstly, cut the petiole or the stalk of the maple leaf using scissors.
Step -2:Sticking The Maple Leaf
Now, using the adhesive, paste the maple leaf on the paper. The maple leaves will act as the fins of the fish. Make sure you stick the A-4-sized sheet on the cardboard so as to give a little stiffness and a 3-D effect to the ecosystem we are about to make!
Step -3:Cutting The Green Leaves
In the next step, using the black marker, create a circular crease on the green leaves and cut these leaves using the scissors. This will act as the body of the fish.
Step -4:Pasting The Green Leaf
Now, paste the first green leaf cutout on the paper. Make sure that you stick the leaf in such a manner that the tip of this leaf touches the base of the maple leaf.
Step-5:Pasting The Other Leaf
Now, following the same steps as above, paste the other leaf into the paper. This new fish will be a friend to our previously lonely fish.
Step -6:Drawing The Eyes And Mouth
Now, using the black marker, draw the eyes and mouth of the first fish.
Step -7:Drawing The Eyes And Mouth
Now repeat the previous step and draw the eyes and mouth for the other fish too. And now, you have two fish for your little one’s pond!
Step -8:Taking The Ginkgo Leaves
For this step, take the ginkgo leaves. Such fan-shaped leaves can be found on the maidenhair trees.
Step -9:Pasting The Ginkgo Leaves
Now, paste the ginkgo leaves on the blank parts of the paper using the adhesive.
Final Step: Final Touches
Finally, add the finishing touches by cutting the ginkgo leaves using the scissors. The ginkgo leaves will act as the aquatic plants such as lotus and water lily leaves for the pond. You can add other elements as per your preference to make the pond look more lively!
And voila, the pond is ready for your fish to swim in…
