Beautiful Balloon and Clay Craft Tutorial For Kids

Today, we will be making a craft involving balloons and long leaves. These balloons and leaves will be put together to make the face of a beautiful lady. And this balloon will not fly up in spite of being inflated, it will stand still in its place instead giving the required stability to the face. So, collect all the material needed, and let’s start shaping this lady.

Materials Required

• A Yellow-Colored Balloon
• Clay Dough
• A Thin Rubber Band
• Corn Leaves
• Googly Eyes
• Small Red Colored Sheet Of Paper
• Pink Colored Crayon
• A Green Sheet Of Paper

Procedure

Step 1: Starting With The Balloon

Take a yellow colored balloon and stretch it to open it up a little.

Step 2: Inserting The Clay Ball

Take a clay dough and mold a ball out of it. Now, stretch the mouth of the balloon and put push the ball in it. The ball should be the size shown in the picture below.

Step 3: Tying The Rubber Band

Take a rubber band and tie the balloon right below the clay ball to fix the ball at the bottom. Tie the band tightly. This will provide balance to the balloon.

Step 4: Turning The Balloon Inside Out

Hold the mouth of the balloon and push the bottom end containing the ball out of the mouth as shown in the picture below.

Step 5: Making The Balloon Stand On The Table

Inflate the balloon and seal the mouth. Now, place the balloon on the table with a clay ball at the bottom.

Step 6: Using The Longleaf

Take the long green leaf and apply glue to it. Now, fold it around the bottom of the balloon with one end on top of the other in the front. See the picture below for reference.

Finally, Beautiful Balloon & Clay Craft is Ready!!

Take a green sheet of paper and cut it into a small round leaf as shown in the picture below. Paste it on the top of the balloon. Paste a pair of googly eyes on the balloon next to each other. Cut out the mouth from a red sheet of paper and paste it above the leaf. Take a pink crayon and make two big dots on the sides of the mouth. See the picture below for complete reference.
