DIY Crabs Under Water Clay Artwork Craft Tutorial For Beginners

Easy Crabs Under Water Clay Artwork Craft

Materials Required

• White and black Sheet of Paper
• Red, brown, orange Clay
• A stamp to press the clay
• Black and blue sketch pen
• Scissors
• Glue and tape

Procedure

Step 1: Starting Off

Cut out a big circle from a white sheet of paper. Stick this white circle on a black sheet of paper using two small tape tabs. Grab the red piece of clay and roll it into a ball. Press that ball down on the paper.

Step 2: Squishing the Clay

To squish the clay out evenly, use a clay stamp or a glass stamp with a flat, clean surface and push the clay down. Push down till the clay is a flat circle on the paper.

Step 3: Squishing the Other Clay

Repeat the steps with the brown and orange clay. Make sure to keep distance between each clay circle.

Step 4: The Limbs of the Crab

Next, pick up your black sketch pen and draw four legs on each side of the red clay crab. Draw two arms for the claws. Draw two eyes as well.

Step 5: Making the Claws of the Crab

You will now take the rest of your clay, and make two small balls Squish these balls to make flat circles. Grab your scissors and make a small, thin triangle cut in both the clay circles. These will be the claws of you crab.

Step 6: Sticking the Claws of your Crab

Stick these clay claws above the claw arms of your crab. Do the same for your other two crabs as well!

Step 7: Drawing in the Details

Using your black sketch pen, make the limbs and eyes for the other crabs. You can make them face different directions. Now, grab your blue sketch pen and proceed to make water bubbles and waves around the crabs and cover up the rest of the remaining space in the white paper.

Step 8: The Mouth of the Crabs

Finally, make the mouth of each crab. You can add a smiley for one, a pout for another and any other face you want. Make them look funny and cute.
