Today’s craft will definitely leave you stunned! In this step-by-step tutorial, we brought you a craft light lamp! Yes, you heard it right! You will learn to make a light lamp which is inexpensive too! This light lamp is made of recycled materials that you can find anywhere and which are highly cheap or of no value even! Materials Required

  • Paper Cup
  • Plastic Bottle
  • Plastic Straw
  • Scissors
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Craft Cutter
  • Metal-wired Fairy Light
  • Colored Clay (Green, Red, And White)
  • Sketch Pens (Red, Green, Purple, And Yellow)
  • Green Paper Sheet

Procedure

Step 1: Drawing A Flower Shape Around The Bottle

Begin this craft by taking a plastic bottle and a black marker. Over the top end/the curved part of the bottle make a flower shape around the bottle using the marker as shown in the image.

Step 2: Cutting Out The Flower Outline

Using scissors, cut out the flower boundary from the bottle.

Step 3: Coloring The Flower Cut Out

Color the small circle part below the bottle cap using a green sketch pen. Now, using the purple and red sketch pen color the petals of the flower cut-out as shown in the image. Just leave the end of the petals.

Color the remaining ends from the yellow sketch pen.

Step 5: Making A Hole In The Cap Of Bottle

Using a craft cutter, make a hole in the cap of the bottle.

Step 6: Inserting A Straw In The Hole

Insert the small part of a plastic straw inside the hole made.

Step 7: Securing The Straw With Hot Glue

Secure the straw with the bottle cap hole using a hot glue gun.

Step 8: Taking A Fairy Light

Take a metal-wired fairy light with a battery attached to it.

Step 9: Inserting The Fairy Light Into Straw

From below, insert the fairy light into the flower cut-out keeping the battery outside.

Step 10: Putting Clay In Cup

Take a paper cup and green clay, put the green clay into the cup, and flatten the top firmly.

Step 13: Inserting The Straw Into Cup

Insert the back of the straw in the clay cup on one side keeping the battery outside placed over the clay cup.

Step 14: Making A Mushroom

Dough red clay into a cone and white clay into a cylinder, put the cone over the cylinder to form a mushroom. Make some flatten circles of white clay by pressing up clay balls and stick them onto the cone of the mushroom. Stick this mushroom on the green clay cup.

Step 15: Making Another Mushroom

Make a thin cylinder from white clay and a big red clay ball, press the clay ball a little to flatten the top and bottom of it, this will be your mushroom top. Place this mushroom top over the cylinder to form another mushroom. Stick this mushroom beside the previous one over the clay cup.

Step 16: Applying Hot Glue To The Straw

In the same way as before, make the dots over the other mushroom top. Now, using the hot glue gun, apply hot glue dots on the plastic straw on opposite sides.

Using scissors, cut out and paste green paper leaves over the straw with the applied hot glue.

Voila! Your light lamp is ready to bring colors to your room!
