It is a very good drawing idea to get your kids interested in drawing, and also an interesting activity for kids around ages 4 to 7. Don’t worry, there is no restriction as such, it is good for all ages. You don’t need too many materials; you can easily get the required material at your home. • White drawing sheet
• Pencil
• Googly eye (1)
• colorful sketch pen

Procedure

Step 1: Put Your Hand On The Drawing Paper

Take a blank sheet of drawing paper. Place your hand, flat, on the paper, in a way that your palm faces upwards.

Step 2: Trace The Boundary Of Your Hand

Take a pencil and trace the boundary of your hand carefully, on the paper. Using a black sketch pen, trace the boundary of the pencil so that it looks as in the image shown above.

Step 3: Turn Your Hand Into A Hen, Using The Black Sketch Pen

Sketch the hen as shown in the above image, its beak, feathers, etc.

Step 4: Finish The Drawing By Making Its Feet

Make the feet of the hen. The drawing part is finished now, let us move forward.

Step 5: Let Us Begin To Color It, Using Sketch Pens

Grab yellow and red sketch pens and color properly as shown above. Make sure you are not pressuring the sketch pens too hard.

Step 6: Paste The Googly Eyes To Give It A Nice Effect

Take the googly eye and paste it using fevicol. Finish coloring the hen as shown above. Also, be careful you do not overlap while coloring.
