Procedure

Step 1: Paper Folding Into Half

Take a square shaped paper. Fold the paper from the middle for equal parts.

Step 2: One Side Triangle Folding

Now that the paper has been folded into two halves, take the bottom right corner of the folded paper and fold it upwards just like in the picture.

Step 3: Other Side Triangle Folding

Repeat the same for the bottom left-side corner of the folded paper.

Step 4: Folding The Paper Into A Smaller Square

Now, take the bottom of the paper where the mouth of the folded paper is open. Spread the mouth of the paper from both side from the middle. It will look as if a bird’s beak is opening. Now, after spreading the mouth, bring the top part of the folded paper down. This will make the folded paper now look like a smaller square just like it is shown in the picture.

Step 5: Making The Umbrella Patterns

Fold the open ends of the folded paper just like it is shown in the picture. This will form the pattern of the cocktail umbrella.
