Materials Required

• Yarn thread
• Scissors
• Comb
• Faux stem and leaves
• Green tape

Procedure

Step 1: Roll The Yarn Thread On Your Fingers

Your first step will be to take yarn thread of any colour of your choice.  Wrap the thread around four of your fingers to make a bundle of thread.

Step 2: Bundle Up The Thread

Bundle up the thread well and make sure it is evenly bundled up. Preferably tie up the loose ends.

Step 3: Tying The Bundle Together

Next, either take an extra piece of the same colour of thread or using the loose ends of the bundle tie it around the middle of the middle. It should be tied such that it makes a bow-like shape.

Step 4: Cutting The Thread Ends

Once your bundle is all secure, grab your scissors and start cutting the ends of the bundle. Cut in such a way that the ends are loose and not joined together. You now have a pom pom in your hands.

Step 5: Combing Through The Cut Threads

Next, grab a comb. Once you have cut all the ends, comb through the pom threads to untangle the thick threads into thin ones.

Step 6: Even Out The Ends Of The Pom Pom
