Encourage your children to make their own imaginary underwater world with this enjoyable craft tutorial. This tutorial is suitable for kids of all ages and will teach them how to craft their own unique and colorful fish with leaves and other supplies.

This tutorial brings to you a fish craft made of leaves of different shapes and colours. We will be creating unique fish shapes with these leaves. These fishes will be swimming underwater in the craft.  Gather some thin leaves from the park or any garden, remember to pick the fallen one’s instead of plucking from trees. So, collect all the material required and let’s get started.

Materials Required

  • A white sheet of paper
  • A pair of scissors
  • Green and red leaves in different shapes and sizes
  • Glue stick
  • Big googly eyes
  • Blue sketch pen

Procedure

Step 1: Starting With The Sheet Of Paper

Take a white sheet of paper and a big circle out of it and place it on the table. Take two small leaves and paste them vertically, next to each other. Now, paste another big leaf , horizontally, on the intersection of the previous two leaves. See the picture below for reference.

Step 2: Pasting More Leaves, Horizontally

Take two small green leaves and paste the, vertically, at a distance from the leaves pasted in the previous step. They should be placed next to each other. Finally, without pasting, place a big leaf in the space between these leaves as shown in the picture below.

Step 3: Pasting Two More Leaves

Take two pointed, small, green leaves and paste them, vertically, next to each other below the leaf that you just placed in the previous step. Now, paste the leaf on top as well. Finally, take a big leaf and paste it, vertically at the bottom right side of the sheet with two small leaves pasted next to each other right below the bottom section of the leaf. Step 4: Pasting A Pair Of Googly Eyes

Take two small, pointed green leaves and paste  them, horizontally, next to each other at a little distance above the leaves you pasted in the previous step. Now, take a big leaf and shape the sides of this leaf into the head of a big fish and paste it in the space between the two leaves that you just pasted and the leaves pasted at the bottom as show in the image in step 6. Finally, paste two googly eyes on the head of the fish paste on the left side if the sheet. See the picture below for reference.

Step 5: Pasting Some Long Red Leaves

Take some long, thin and pointed red leaves and paste one, vertically at the bottom circumference of the white, circular sheet. See the picture below for reference.

Step 6: Pasting More Leaves On The Circumference

Firstly, paste a pair  of googly eyes on the head of the fish pasted on the right side of the sheet. Paste one red leaf in similar fashion on the extreme left of the sheet and another one on the extreme right of the sheet. Paste a similar green leaf between the two red leaves on the left side of the sheet. Finally, paste a red and a yellow leaf in the little space left in between. See the picture below for reference.

Step 7: Making Some Under Water Bubbles

Using a blue sketch pen, draw small circles on the white sheet above the two fishes. See the picture below for reference.

This completes the process of making this craft and we are left with a beautiful fish craft. You learned to make shapes using just leaves of different shapes. You also learned good pasting skills.
